This Privacy Policy outlines the types of information healKick collects from individuals who have registered to join healKick (“Members”) and how it is shared with Members and individuals who have not registered to join healKick (“Non-Members”).

*Please note: We understand that few things are more important than user privacy, especially for patients, and we are working on allowing users to customize the privacy of their profile information and activity.  To date, all the options we have tried cause major problems to our site.  We welcome any assistance from the community in making this happen.

healKick does not share this data with Members or Non-Members. healKick will send notifications and healKick news to the email address you provide.

Community Data:

healKick does not share this data with Non-Members.

Public Data:

healKick may share this data with Members, Non-Members, or any other third parties.

healKick was created to bring isolated patients together.  Members are thus encouraged to share personal and health information to facilitate connection with other Members.  However, Members should understand that as they share more personal information, they also increase their likelihood of being located and/or identified.

healKick contains public text input fields including but not limited to a public forum..  healKick treats any information entered into these public text input fields as public data.  If Members choose to enter information into these public text input fields, their usernames will be viewable next to their published public content.  Members may also enter personal information such as name, email address, and birthdate into these public text input fields, which may be used to reasonably identify them.

If the ownership of healKick changes, all of your data, including Confidential Data, may be transferred to the new owner.

When you use our website, please keep in mind that healKick cannot guarantee the authenticity of any of the information Members publish, including their identity.

healKick makes every effort to maintain the security of Member data, but Members should not expect that their personal information, searches, or other communications will always remain secure. Members should be careful about disclosing personal information and should avoid sending personal information through insecure email.
